ABSTRACT SUPERNOVAS!
THINK
Artists, as well as scientists, have long considered the cosmos and the place of people within the universe.
For this activity, we will explore the mesmerizing collages of the American artist, Fred Tomaselli. Fred Tomaselli's collages explode in patterns that appear to grow organically from the center of his art works. His art celebrates the vibrant complexity of the natural world and the cosmos, in general. They are filled with geometry, pattern and radial symmetry. This video will introduce you to Fred's amazing work and show you how to make an Abstract Supernova. A supernova is an exploding star. Check out this spectacular phenomenon here.
